Meighan Harris was born and raised in Chesapeake, Virginia. She currently resides in Fort Myers, Florida with her husband, Jeremy and her two children, Sophie, five years, and Chase, two years old. At the end of her husband’s 10 year service in the United States Navy they decided to relocate to be closer to Jeremy’s family here in Southwest Florida. Meighan’s background consists of over 15 years administrative and clinical experience in the dental field. Meighan is excited to bring her customer service and administrative skill set to B.E.A.R. as the new Education and Events Coordinator.
NAR Conference Update – Big Changes On the Horizon
NAR’s BOD voted to increase the frequency of NAR Code of Ethics educational requirement from every four years to every two years starting in 2016. A biennial Code of Excellence education requirement is being added to increase professionalism through increased training and recognition of competencies and consumer values. The competencies include: stewardship of property listing data, privacy and security of consumer information, advocacy of property rights, community involvement and technological expertise.
